Kathrin Oettli
Kathrin Oettli completed her Bachelor’s degree in Earth Science at ETH Zurich in 2021. During her Master’s thesis, under the supervision of Jonas Ruh, she tries to understand the complex deformation history of the southwestern part of the dolomites. On a fieldtrip in the summer 2022 she collected structural measurements and rock samples, which are analysed using various geochemical methods, such as U-PB dating of calcite slickensides.
