Betti Hegyi

Betti Hegyi received her Bachelor’s degree in Earth Sciences in 2018 and her Master’s degree in Geophysics in 2021 from Eötvös Loránd University, Hungary. Her master thesis focused on the geodynamical modelling of orogenic fold-and-thrust belts, with special attention to triangle zone formation and the mechanical reasons responsible for back-thrust initiation. During her studies, she had an opportunity for an internship at MOL Group, under the Reservoir Geology Department, Subsurface Division. She was an enthusiastic member of the SEG and AAPG Student Chapters, organized field trips, lectures and short courses at Eötvös University.
